If you are looking for some inspo as to how to pair your winter outfits with boots you have landed on the right page. For this segment I will be styling my favourite pair of low heel leather boots from Massimo Dutti.
These are my favourite knee length leather winter boots, they universally suit the majority of my outfits and are a great pair of boots for the office.
Boot Trends
Before we dive into some winter outfit inspo lets check out the top trending winter boots this season to see what we can be working with. Slouchy black boots, Tabi boots and platform Uggs have been all the rage.
Another trending boot was the Givenchy Shark Lock Boots, on the slightly pricier but a classic boot that is worth investing into. These would pair nicely with a sweater dress.
When buying boots there are a few factors that you should take into consideration, a) your thigh-calf proportions b) the length of your legs. For example if you have short thighs and long calves it may be better to wear a knee high boot with a slightly shorter shaft in order to elongate your legs. For a more in depth explanation I suggest checking out Jennifer Wang’s video below.
Considering investing into some winter boots with a chunkier sole in order to lengthen your legs. Basicela_ had a the genius idea of adding a cushion sole into her boots in order to prevent her feet from sliding out and give her that heel effect whilst still being comfortable, check out her video for more inspo and guidance.
